“Sueños de Gloria” is the first Peruvian musical movie about the Marinera, the most popular dance of Peru. A love story that has rhythm, passion, laughter, tenderness and promotes human values and national identity. It also shows determination and dedication which is awakened by this popular national dance. Sueños de Gloria was filmed in different beautiful locations throughout Peru, such as Trujillo City, Moche, Huanchaco, Lima and the Mamacona town.
This film would also serve as a great educational experience for students who are learning Spanish and/or Latin American culture and dance styles as it challenges current issues in modern Latin American society.
