Premier’s Address with The Hon. Gladys Berejiklian MP

Dear member and friend,

The Australia Peru Chamber of Commerce, APCCI, is pleased to invite you to attend the Premier’s Address with the Hon. Gladys Berejeklian MP, Premier of NSW on Friday 2nd of August, at 12pm, at the Hyatt Hotel, Sydney.

APCCI  in partnership with the American Chamber of Commerce in Australia,  the Australia-Israel Chamber of Commerce, the French Australian Chamber of Commerce, German-Australian Chamber of Industry and Commerce, Italian Chamber of Commerce in Australia, La Camara Spanish-Australian Chamber of Commerce & Industry, the Australia-Latin American Business Council are proud to present the NSW Premier, The Hon. Gladys Berejiklian MP.

For registration, please, follow the link to the event:

The Premier will be joined in a fireside chat with journalist Ticky Fullerton, Sky News Business Editor and co-anchor of Business Weekend on Sky News Australia.

She will be discussing the NSW boom and how trade benefits the state through some of NSW increasingly growing industries for employment.

The outlook for the state of NSW is strong. Business investment, public infrastructure and dwelling construction are all exhibiting strength, lifting construction activity and employment in the state to record levels. Service exports are also contributing strongly to economic growth, underpinned by overseas visitors and international student enrollments.

The NSW economy will continue to benefit from easy access to capital, a competitive Australian dollar, strong demand from Asia, above trend population growth, and a historically large infrastructure and residential construction pipeline. The key drivers of growth in the near-term are forecast to be overseas exports, dwelling investment, and public capital expenditure.

This will be the major multi-Chamber event in NSW this year. Give your business prominence through table sponsorship, meet executives from other business communities, and get to know diplomats from the countries represented at this significant event.

About the Premier

The Hon. Gladys Berejiklian MP was first elected to the NSW Parliament as Member for Willoughby on 22 March 2003.

She was elected Leader of the Parliamentary Liberal Party on 23 January 2017 and sworn in as the 45th Premier of New South Wales. Gladys had previously served as Treasurer and Minister for Industrial Relations in the Baird Government since April 2015.

Prior to that, she was appointed Minister for Transport following the election of the O’Farrell Government in March 2011 and served in that role for four years.

She is a Master of Commerce graduate from UNSW and prior to entering Parliament worked as a General Manager for one of Australia’s largest financial institutions. Gladys has also completed studies in Government and Public Administration (B.A., Uni. Syd).

Gladys lives in Willoughby and has had a life-long association with the local area.

Looking forward to seeing you there in this fantastic networking

A love story that has rhythm, passion, laughter, tenderness and promotes human values and national identity. It also shows determination and dedication which is awakened by this popular national dance. Sueños de Gloria was filmed in different beautiful locations throughout Peru, such as Trujillo City, Moche, Huanchaco, Lima and the Mamacona town.
This film would also serve as a great educational experience for students who are learning Spanish and/or Latin American culture and dance styles as it challenges current issues in modern Latin American society.
